According to Greek mythology, Orion, the hunter, used to wander along the shadows of the roads chasing Pleione and her daughters. From time to time he would rest at an inviting wood by the road. He would have his peace of mind for some time but sooner or later the spirits who inhabited the wood would start to pester him. At this stage, he would collect his things and resume his way. He never looked back for fear of missing the next wood ahead.
